Despondent

Feeling despondent today. Because of the people who will not wear masks and are not taking COVID seriously, this is life now.

Until a vaccine is developed & distributed, life outside my front door is a crap-shoot. Will I be unlucky enough to get infected?

Will I be unlucky and develop symptoms?

Will I be really unlucky and be hospitalized?

Will I live but end up with complications for the rest of my life?

Will I end up dead, the unluckiest of all? Who knows, you gotta play to win.

And I look out my window and see a lot of gamblers.
